We organise tours for all interests using confortable air-contitioned busses and guide

1.City Tour

Quick bus-tour to visit the historical centre of Hermoupolis including the beautiful area of Vaporia, and the two hills above the city, medieval Ano Syros and Anastasi (1:30 hrs)

2. Monasteries of Syros

This tour includes a visit to the Orthodox Convent of Santa Barbara (6km from town, near the village of Kini). This will be followed by a tour on foot of the medieval town of Ano Syros. We start by going to the Catholic Cathedral of St George.  Then we pass by the old Monasteries of the Jesuits and the Capuchins, and continue walking down through the narrow streets to the town square of Ano Syros and its folklore museums.  From this level, the bus picks us up to return to Hermoupolis.  Once again on foot, we will visit the Orthodox Cathedral of the Metamorphosis of Jesus, followed by the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary where we see the original El Greco painting of the same name (3 hrs).

3. Nautical tradition

Bus tour to the old shipyards of Syros, to the Industrial Museum, which is unique in Greece, and to the NEORION Shipyard (dependent on receiving a licence for that day) (1:30 hrs)

4. Night tour (including dinner)

An evening bus tour to places from where we can enjoy wonderful views of Ano Syros and the town all lit up. Then we will go on to a traditional taverna for dinner (3 hrs)

5. All in one tour

Tour to the historical centre of Hermoupolis, to the medieval town of Ano Syros and to all the coastal villages of the island.  We will stop at one of these for swimming and for lunch. (7 hrs).
